An ocean of artistic expression *

DR SHALINI SINGH will present a collection of her new works in an exhibition entitled “Ocean” at the Art Society of Trinidad and Tobago, corner Jamaica Boulevard and St Vincent Avenue, Federation Park, Port of Spain. The opening reception is tomorrow from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The exhibition runs until April 13, Monday to Sundays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is free.

Singh attended Bishop Anstey High School and completed her BA, M Phil and Ph D degrees at The University of the West Indies, St Augustine, Trinidad. A recipient of first class honours and a postgraduate scholarship, Singh teaches visual arts at the Diego Martin Central Secondary School, art history at The University of Trinidad and Tobago and ideas in contemporary art at The University of the West Indies. She has exhibited her work in New York, Colombia, Guyana and Miami. This is Singh's sixth solo art exhibition.
