Relatives of missing mother Sharlene Somai have made a desperate appeal for help in finding the young businesswoman who walked up the street from her home on Tuesday night, and vanished.
Sharlene Somai, 23, was last seen on Tuesday when she left her home at Petersfield Main Road, Chaguanas around 7:30 p.m.
According her brother, Christopher Somai, his sister left the house to go to a nearby shop to purchase a phone card.
She never made it to the shop and early Wednesday morning the family found her cellular phone on the front porch of the house.
Somai has a four-year-old son and recently opened an eatery in Valsayn.
She was last seen wearing a short floral pants and brown coloured top.
Somai said his sister always told relatives where she goes and that she would not have left her child alone.
Relatives are now pleading with the public to help find the missing woman.
A missing person's report was made to the Chaguanas Police Station.
