‘Sole to Sole’ showcases The UWI dancers at Little Carib

Come out for a night of dance as the Dance Unit at the Department of Creative and Festival Arts (DCFA), The University of the West Indies, St Augustine, hosts its annual production, Sole to Sole.

This unique production will feature performances by students of the DCFA certificate in dance and dance education, the BA in dance, the Festival Dance Ensemble and pupils from secondary schools.

Sole to Sole will prove to be as exciting as the previous years as all of the choreographers showcase work ranging from traditional folk to multiple fusion dance styles such as folk, modern, jazz, Indian and physical theatre. Audiences can look forward to a dynamic and riveting evening as they will be entertained by creative dance presentations to a blend of eclectic music.

Showtimes are today and tomorrow, at 7 p.m., at the Little Carib Theatre, Woodbrook, Port of Spain.

Adult admission is $100 and $50 for pupils. Schools groups of 20 or more will receive a 50 per cent discount. Tickets are available at the DCFA, Agostini Street, St Augustine and at the Little Carib Theatre box office.
