Curaçao: prison for ex-PM? *


An ex-prime minister can expect a ruling next month on his appeal against a three-year prison sentence; if he loses, he gets locked up.

His former finance minister has been under arrest in Venezuela since March on an Interpol warrant for fraud, and is listed officially as a murder suspect.

The long-serving central bank governor is charged with tax fraud.
