Sinanan looking at Tobago back-up boat *

Works and Transport Minister Rohan Sinanan

The Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (PATT) is looking at bringing in a passenger vessel to operate between Trinidad and Tobago while the current vessels are dry-docked, says Works and Transport Minister Rohan Sinanan.

Speaking at yesterday's post-Cabinet news conference at the Diplomatic Centre, St Ann's, Sinanan said the two passenger vessels — T&T Spirit and T&T Express — which are currently operating, will be dry-docked, one in June and the other in September.

The third passenger vessel to be brought in will ensure that when one is being serviced, there will always be two operating the route.
