CAL cancels two flights as Tropical Storm Don heads to Grenada

As Tropical Storm Don approached the Windward Islands on Tuesday, Caribbean Airlines (CAL) canceled two flights between Trinidad and Tobago and Grenada on Tuesday.

A tropical storm warning was in effect for Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, while a tropical storm watch was in effect for Barbados, St. Lucia and Bonaire.

The Maurice Bishop International Airport in Grenada has been closed, as the tropical storm is expected to make landfall by late evening.

CAL announced that flights carded for Tuesday and Wednesday - BW 438 Port of Spain to Grenada and BW 439 Grenada to Port of Spain – have been canceled.

CAL stated that customers traveling during the period July 18 – 19, 2017 will be permitted to change or cancel their reservations without penalty subject to the following conditions:

- Passengers must have a confirmed ticket issued before July 18th, 2017

- Passengers who choose to have their tickets refunded, must do so by 25 July 2017

- Passengers who choose to change their reservations must complete their travel by 25 July 2017. Travel must be in the same cabin as the original.

- Caribbean Airlines WILL NOT be responsible for arrangements or transportation
