WATCHDOG group FIXIN' T&T is questioning the legitimacy of Bridgemans Services Group, through which Government has contracted two ferries for the Trinidad and Tobago sea bridge.
The group has written to the Port Authority seeking answers under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
Group chairman Kirk Waithe yesterday disclosed that FIXIN' T&T's communication to the Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (PATT), which seeks access to a report by American risk assessment company, Dun & Bradstreet and which was said to have been provided to the PATT on the subject of Bridgemans.
Waithe issued the letters to PATT in a media release yesterday, in which the group seeks urgent attention for that particular request. This follows its own failed attempts to verify Bridgemans' address and validity in Canada, where the company is said to operate. In a July 21, 2017 letter to PATT, the group submitted ten queries with regard to the authority's relationship with Bridgemans.
