The Queen's Park Oval may be the place to be for fans of the Caribbean Premier League this week, but the public will also have a chance to soak up some cricket history nearby.

For all of this week until next Monday, they can relive some of West Indies cricket legend Brian Lara's greatest moments with him at the Brian Lara 400* Pop-Up Lounge and Memorabilia Museum.

Located on the corner of Elizabeth Street and Sweet Briar Road, the Lounge and Museum contains items Lara used in setting some of his world records, as well as autographed bats and personal messages from some of the game's outstanding players against whom he played.

“It's an idea I had for a very long time,” he said at a session with the media yesterday morning.
