Bridgemans Services Group LP, the Canadian firm at the centre of the Ocean Flower II debacle, is exploring its options following the Port Authority's cancellation of the contract to lease the vessel.
In a news release yesterday, Bridgemans defended its reputation and stated with regard to the Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago's decision to reject the Ocean Flower II: “The Ocean Flower II contract has been cancelled by the Ministry of Works and Transportation.
“Bridgemans Services does not agree the cancellation is valid. Bridgemans is considering its options on how to move forward. In the meantime, Bridgemans has also provided PATT with a short-term day rental proposal for its consideration.”
