This was the call of a Chinese restaurant owner yesterday, in response to what he said was an apparent escalation of attacks on Chinese businesses in recent weeks.
The owner, who would only speak with the Express on the condition that neither he nor his business would be identified, said there was a general feeling of unease among the Chinese community, with some resorting to hiring more security and becoming more withdrawn.
