Bandits shoot bread salesman, take $200 *


A BREAD salesman was shot twice in the leg after he was robbed of $200 by two men.

One was armed with a gun.

The salesman, 43, of Port of Spain, was conducting sales at 7.30 p.m. on Friday, in Pleasantville Circular, Pleasantville, when he was approached by the men.

They announced a hold-up and robbed him of the cash.

He was shot twice in the knee and left lying near a cart of unsold bread.

His assailants fled the scene.
