GOVERNMENT has confidence in the ability of businessman Christian Mouttet to unearth the facts surrounding the ferry fiasco.
It also has confidence in the current Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (PATT) board which will remain in place while Mouttet's probe takes place, Government Minister Stuart Young has said.
He was responding to questions at the post-Cabinet news conference at the Diplomatic Centre, St Ann's yesterday.
Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley appointed Mouttet as sole investigator to examine the procurement process for the Ocean Flower II and the Cabo Star vessels.
Young said the PATT board headed by Alison Lewis will remain in place pending the probe.
