'One eye' charged with double murder

...17-year-old jointly charged


A Port of Spain man and a Laventille teenager, are expected to appear in court today charged with the August 8 murders of Trevvon Wilson and his neighbour, Tiba Thomas.

Miguel Mc Clean, also known as 'One Eye, Bad Eye', 26, of East Dry River, Port of Spain and the 17-year-old, who cannot be identified because he is a minor, have also been charged with kidnapping, burglary and three counts of common assault. 

Wilson, 21, of Gonzales, Belmont, was taken at gunpoint from his home by three men, and carried to the home of Thomas, 36, a short distance away. The men called out to Thomas, and when he opened the door, he was shot in the head. Mr. Wilson was also shot in the head. 

Mc Clean and the teenager, were charged by Sgt Roger Reyes.
