Under-17 Girls face USVI tonight*


Trinidad and Tobago Under-17 begin to the journey towards a place in the 2018 FIFA Girls Under-17 World Cup with a first-round Caribbean Zone tie against the United States Virgin Island (USVI).
Trinidad and Tobago begin Caribbean qualifying tonight in the 7.30 second match of a double-header against United States Virgin Island (USVI). The opening game (5 p.m.) matches Grenada and Curacao. The T&T girls will also be in action on Friday against Curacao and Sunday in the tournament finale against Grenada.
Trinidad and Tobago, Puerto Rico, Saint Lucia, Guyana, and St Vincent and the Grenadines host first round Groups A–E. Each of the group winners will advance to the final round to join Haiti, where they are divided into two groups of three teams, with the top three teams qualifying for the eight-team 2018 CONCACAF Championships, which itself qualified the top three teams for the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup to be played in Uruguay.
