Trinidad and Tobago's (T&T) bid to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia continues to be an uphill battle after they were beaten 2-1 by Jamaica in an international friendly match at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Port of Spain, on Thursday (Aug 24).

The match, which served to test T&T's preparedness for their CONCACAF hexagonal round home qualifier against Honduras on September 1 at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva, did not get off to a good start for the host as midfielder Jamiel Hardware gave the visiting Reggae Boyz the lead in the seventh minute.

T&T would level proceedings five minutes later through a goal by Central FC's striker Kevon Villaroel, but a Michael Binns' strike in the 57th minute sealed the win for Jamaica to leave T&T still searching for a winning formula.

Express photographer Stephen Doobay was at the match and supplied the following photographic highlight.
