FROM October 1, FLOW customers will pay more for their Digital and Advanced Video Service (AVS) cable TV packages.
The telecommunications provider said in a statement yesterday the price increases were due to annual price increases imposed by programming providers as well as continued fluctuations in the value of the rate of exchange between the US and the TT dollar, which has increased the cost of its services.
“From a global perspective it is customary within the cable sector to conduct annual rate increases. As far as possible we choose not to do an annual price increase to our customers. However, at times it is unavoidable,” FLOW said yesterday in a statement announcing the price hike.
