Trinbago Knight Riders wicketkeeper/batsman Denesh Radmin has been hailed as a true “community icon” by the Couva/Tabaquite/Talparo Regional Corporation.
Chairman Councillor Henry Awong, on behalf of the Couva/Tabaquite/Talparo Regional Corporation, wishes to extend his heartfelt congratulations to Denesh Ramdin and the Trinbago Knight Riders on becoming 2017 Caribbean Premier League Champions.” a media release from the Corporation stated.
“This hard fought match is indeed an uplifting victory for Trinidad and Tobago. This victory showcased the team’s dedication to the game and unwavering national pride. As a resident of the Couva/Tabaquite/Talparo region, Denesh Ramdin continues to inspire the youths to strive for greatness and is truly a community icon,” the statement added.
“As CPL Champions for the second time, TKR has once again shown us that sport can truly be a unifying agent. The Corporation, extends its congratulations to the team once again and urges the team to keep its supremacy in this league,” it concluded.
