THE Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (PATT) and Works and Transport Minister Rohan Sinanan came in for licks yesterday from former head of the Public Service Reginald Dumas over the ferry fiasco.
Dumas appeared before a Joint Select Committee (JSC) of Parliament that is conducting an ongoing enquiry into the inter-sland ferry service, with focus on the procurement of the Ocean Flower II and MV Cabo Star vessels.
Dumas, who had previously endorsed calls for Sinanan and the PATT board to resign, said yesterday he was taking the opportunity to again make the call. Dumas lambasted the board and Minister for the fiasco and for the manner in which operations have been going at the PATT.
