TRINITY COLLEGE Moka held their own and even looked dangerous at times but two second-half goals from Shiva Boys Hindu College’s Kierron Mason proved to be too much yesterday, as the defending champions maintained their perfect record in the Shell/First Citizens Secondary Schools Football League Premier Division.
On a muddy pitch, hosts Trinity College Moka seemed to be giving the South team a run for their money in the fourth round clash, with end to end action keeping the small crowd interested despite some intermittent drizzle.
Trinity even had a couple of attacking runs with Keshaun St Rose pressuring Shiva custodian Denzil Smith early in the match. Tyrel Baptiste and Jabari Graham had some work to do at the back but both used their superior strength to cut out the attacks by St Rose and Temesgn Tezera down the left side in the first half.
Raheim Jawahir also found himself in front of goal but the Shiva defence made sure he did not have a clear shot.
