Police dig up ammo and ganja buried in Central*

UNEARTHED: The hundreds of rounds of ammunition and marijuana which were found buried in a bushy area at Ninth Street, Dow Village, California.


A cache of ammunition and five kilogrammes of marijuana were unearthed by police officers in a bushy area in California on Thursday. Police said 650 rounds of ammunition were discovered by officers of Couva Police Station. Officers conducted the exercise, which was coordinated by Supt (Ag) Andy Belfon and ASP (Ag) Michael Pierre and supervised by Sgt Ken Ali and included officers of the Couva CID, between 2 p.m. and 9.30 p.m.
