Speaker orders Imbert, Young, Al-Rawi to 'take a walk' during budget debate*

In a most unusual development, House Speaker Bridgid Annisette-George yesterday had to ask three senior Government ministers —Finance Minister Colm Imbert, Attorney General Faris Al-Rawi and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister Stuart Young—to leave the Parliament Chamber. They were asked to do so because of their unacceptable interfe­rences during the budget debate contribution of Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar.
