Unsatisfactory seizure*


When one thinks of Greece one thinks of history, philosophy, invention, tragedy, language, art, literature, Olympics, architecture, soaring white walls, music, dancing, the brilliant Mediterranean Sea, mathematics, technology, astronomy, scientists and beauty. The list, of course, goes on.
Well, the Greek man I am writing about today embodied none of the above. A friend asked me what my column was going to be about today and I told her “The Man from Greece”.
