‘Teachers not required to supervise during breaks’ *

Don't blame teachers for school violence, says Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association (TTUTA) president Lynsley Doodhai.

And he made it clear teachers were not required to supervise pupils during their lunch breaks, before or after school.

Doodhai said he was disappointed that Education Minister Anthony Garcia moved so quickly to condemn teachers following an incident at the Siparia West Secondary School.
