48 hours of rain: roads near airport flooded*

Use alternative routes.
This was the advice of Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (AATT) corporate communications manager Zola Joseph to the public, as torrential showers over the last 48 hours caused flood waters to reach the compound of Piarco International Airport. “We are experiencing flooding. The roadway west of the Golden Grove Road has been inundated. However, we do not have flooding at the Piarco Area Road,” said Joseph yesterday.
