...And 1976 Phoenix join Caledonia and Police in FA semis

NEIL BENJAMIN JR scored his 15th goal in all competitions this season to lift W Connection to a 1-0 win over Super League side Guaya United on Wednesday night, to complete the last four of the 2017 FA Trophy competition.

The FA Trophy semi-finals, carded for November 26, will be fought among three professional teams and one from the semi-pro TT Super League. Four-time champions W Connection joined Pro League compatriots and former winners Morvant Caledonia United, Police FC and Super League club 1976 FC Phoenix in the final four.

Phoenix, the last of 19 Super League clubs that were part of the competition this season, scored a 2-0 win over Point Fortin Civic on the hasely Crawford Stadium training pitch to deny an all-Pro League FA Trophy semi-final affair.
