More changes at SporTT *

THE APPOINTMENT of two more Sports Company of Trinidad and Tobago (SporTT) directors was revoked Wednesday and they will be replaced by two new directors to be confirmed at the AGM of SporTT today at their headquarters in Balmain, Couva.

In a letter Wednesday, Minister of Finance Colm Imbert informed SporTT chairman Dinanath Ramnarine of the appointment of two new board members -- contractor and property developer Jeffery Guillen and Hayden Manzano, the acting director for Economic Research and Policy Coordination at the Ministry of Finance -- and the termination of the appointment of former Trinidad and Tobago cricketer Imran Jan and Richard Mc Farlane.

In a letter dated yesterday, Ramnarine officially advised Jan and Mc Farlane of their removal, reminding the pair of their continued obligation of confidentiality to SporTT despite their termination.
