Ramdin, Mohammed punish Volcanoes

THE Trinidad and Tobago Red Force bowlers will have every incentive to attack when they eventually get the ball in their hands. But that may be a while yet.

Yesterday, their batsmen, captain Denesh Ramdin and Jason Mohammed in particular, showed the hunger their skipper wants to see from them when they get the ball. However, this was a hunger for runs.

Not a drop of rain fell yesterday but the runs poured off Red Force bats as the home team ended the first day's play against the Windward Islands Volcanoes on 334 for three at the Queen's Park Oval with Ramdin (104, nine fours) and Mohammed (100, eight fours, one six) still at the crease.
