A Sea Lots man has been committed to stand trial in the Port of Spain High Court, on multiple sexual offences against two girls.
The premiminary enquiry involving 77-year-old Neville Richards, a taxi driver, was heard by Port of Spain Magistrate Adia Mohammed, who committed the matter to trial.
Richards was later remanded into custody, pending the securing of $150,000 bail with surety.
According to the State, the accused was alleged hired as a driver, by the parents of the six-year-old and seven-year-old girls, to transport them to their primary school.
It is alleged the offences against the girls were committed sometime between June 1st 2016 and June 30th 2016.
Richard was charged by WPC Makeda Edwards, of the Child Protection Unit.
