Officer of the Maracas Bay Police Station found a gun, ammunition cocaine and marijuana during an anti-crime operation at maracas Bay on Saturday.
The officers executed a search warrant at the Old Bay Road, Maracas Bay, home of a 26-year-old man. They alleged found 20 grammes of cocaine concealed inside a shoe in his bedroom. The man who was in the house at the time of the search, was arrested in connection with the find.
At am abandoned house in the area, officers found three packages, containing 1.3 kilogrammes of marijuana,, along with a revolver and one round of .38mm ammunition. The drug has an estimated street value of $13,000.
The exercise, which was spearheaded by ASP Michael Sooker and included members of the Coastal Patrol Unit, was conducted between 10:00am and 5:00pm.
