INVADERS gained sweet revenge over Carenage Blasters to capture the title in the WASA Invitational Table Tennis Tournament Thursday night at the club's headquarters, Farm Road, St Joseph.

After being edged 4-3 when the teams clashed two nights earlier in the round-robin phase, the title favourites trounced last year's champions 4-1 in the final.

With his team already down 2-0, national champion Aaron Wilson secured the only point for Blasters when he defeated 2002 Caribbean singles champ Trevor Farley of Barbados 11-9, 11-6, 6-11, 12-10 to end the tournament as the only unbeaten A1 player.
