An invitation to the San Fernando Hill

THE people of San Fernando have been invited to the San Fernando Hill to participate in the San Fernando Heritage Trust's Heritage Day celebration on Wednesday.

The all-day affair will include local breakfast, guided city tours, food fair , and heritage craft fair.

One of the highlights will be a presentation by Englishman Terry Suthers, a heritage museum professional with over 45 years heritage management experience.

Suthers is the former Chair of York City Trust in England and he will share his ideas on using the soon to be established "San Fernando Heritage District " to promote local tourism.

 

There will be an exhibition of the work of famed artist Michel Jean Cazabon, and the collection of beloved Angelo Bissessarsingh.

Titled a “A Taste of Heritage”, the Heritage Day is free of charge and those who like to paint and draw are encouraged to walk their art supplies and register to be part of the session.

It starts at 9a.m and ends at 5p.m.

The Heritage Day is part of the San Fernando's City Week celebrations. Mayor Junia Regrello is the patron of the San Fernando Heritage Trust.
