Young blasts commentators on Rowley’s ‘rearranged’ invitation to China *

This was the advice from Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister Stuart Young yesterday as he blasted commentators who had speculated that Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley was “snubbed” by the Chinese government.

Addressing the post-Cabinet briefing at the Diplomatic Centre in St Ann's, Young also took issue with the word “withdrawal” in reference to a decision by the Chinese to re-arrange an invitation to Rowley to attend a high-level meeting of ten world leaders in Beijing at the end of November.
