IMF praises Jamaica PM*

International Monetary Fund (IMF) managing director Christine Lagarde has lavished praise on the Andrew Holness administration in Jamaica for the communication, inclusiveness and ownership of the economic reforms the country has introduced since it entered into an Extended Fund Facility (EFF) with the institution 2013. Speaking side-by-side with Holness at a news conference at his office in Kingston, Jamaica, yesterday, Lagarde said: “I have to say Mr Prime Minister that Jamaica is really setting standards in that respect.
