Carolyn Seepersad-Bachan is new COP leader*

Carolyn Seepersad-Bachan is the new leader of the Congress of the People (COP). Just after 7.15 p.m. yesterday Sharon Gopaul-McNicols called Seepersad-Bachan and conceded the election.
Her concession came even though two ballot boxes, from Tunapuna and Point Fortin were not yet at the COP headquarters in Charlieville and had not yet been counted.
