A Sixth Form pupil was taken into police custody on Monday after he was caught selling drugs at a secondary school in Central Trinidad.
The drugs were hidden inside his schoolbag.
Police said 44 packets of marijuana were found inside his bag.
Investigators said the school boy was caught attempting to sell the drugs to a Form Three pupil inside a classroom.
School officials contacted the Central Division police who responded.
The teenagers were taken to the Freeport police station where they were interviewed.
The Ministry of Education has also been notified.
Police are awaiting instructions from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to determine whether criminal charged would be laid against the schoolboy.
