On Monday this week, Jamaican dancehall star Ninja Man (Desmond John Ballentine) was found guilty of murder, along with his son Janeil and an associate, Dennis Clayton. “A suh it go man,” he said as he was led from the court, flashing a fast smile.
Together, the three were responsible for shooting 20-year-old Ricardo “Trooper” Johnson, back in March 2009.
Ninja Man gave himself up to the police soon after the murder. He spent more than three years on remand, then more than four years out on bail.
