Cricket boss calls for peace, unity*

Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) president Azim Bassarath made an appeal for unity in the local cricket fraternity as he addressed the audience at the TTCB awards ceremony at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy on Saturday night. The TTCB, led by Bassarath, was taken to court last year by a group of officials of the National League, who are challenging the ruling body’s constitution which has resulted in the Board’s election of officers to be postponed until the matter is resolved.
