Primus claims TTCB top award*

Aguilleira, Cooper also recognised at year-end gala ceremony

Honoured and grateful. Those were the sentiments expressed by Barbadian all-rounder Roshon Primus after he copped the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) National Senior Cricketer of the Year trophy at the board’s 61st annual awards ceremony held Saturday night at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba.
Primus, who scored 352 runs and took 21 wickets after making his first-class debut for the T&T Red Force in the 2016/17 Regional four-day tournament, to the top prize ahead of top contenders T&T’s Yannic Cariah, Imran Khan and Bryan Charles and another Barbadian Kyle Hope.
