Leave the Whe Whe alone*

HOW ironic it is that at the very moment when the operators of the National Lotteries Control Board (NLCB) are seeking to stamp out the very game from which the Play Whe was hijacked by the State, the board is declaring the highest profits ever in its existence.
There are ads suddenly turning up on the radio designed to frighten people into feeling that if they assemble to play Whe Whe, wherever, they can be arrested.
This is an absurdity that must be steupsed at, and shown for the foolishness that it is.
Reporting to one of Parliament’s Joint Select Committees (JSCs) last week, a member of the NLCB was describing a situation in which he said the NLCB recorded $2.96 billion in revenue over the last operating year, the highest level of sales and profitability in its history.
