Desperate Police take on hungry W Connection at Ato Boldon

POLICE FOOTBALL CLUB have not won even a march past in the last 23 years—a lifetime for some and to others, a pretty long time to wait for anything.

Tonight, three-time National and FA Trophy champions Police FC look for a first piece of silverware since completing the 1994 Trinidad and Tobago League and FA Trophy double, when they battle four-time winners W Connection for a $100,000 prize in the 2017 FA Trophy Final from 8 p.m. at Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva.

Once a “big” club, Police represented Trinidad and Tobago well at regional level in the past and apart from Defence Force, who won it twice and reached four finals, Police are the only other local team to reach the CONCACAF Champions Cup final, the forerunner to the current CONCACAF Champions League.
