Red Force slump at Sabina *

A MIDDLE-ORDER slump condemned the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force to 243 all out on the opening day of their sixth-round Regional Four-Day Championship match against the Jamaica Scorpions in Kingston yesterday.

At Sabina Park, after captain Denesh Ramdin opted to bat first, the second-placed Red Force collapsed from a position of strength at 167 for three, losing their remainig seven wickets for 76 runs.

And in reply, the Scorpions got safely to the close on 16 without loss.
