YUVRAAJ DOOKRAM played unbeaten to strike gold in grand style when the RMSL (Reliability Maintenance Services Limited) Super Singles Table Tennis Tournament ended Wednesday night at National Racquet Centre, Orange Grove Main Road, Tacarigua.

The country's top-ranked player had also won the Silver Bowl Championships in May and Tobago Open a few weeks ago, and he became the first male player in over five years to lift the trophy in as many as three of the five major tournaments on the calendar.

After both players had won their first three matches in the straight round-robin final stage, Dookram defeated title favourite Aaron Wilson 11-8, 11-8, 4-11, 11-8 to be assured of the title with one match still to play.
