Homicide suspect nabbed with gun, ammo and camo

Police say they found these items at the suspect's hideout.

AN ex-convict suspected of a recent killing in Siparia and several robberies was held in Princes Town last week.

Police say they found army fatigues, and a loaded pistol when they arrested him.

The 34 year old man, who is from central Trinidad, was detained at an apartment at Broomage #1.

Sgt Ramlogan, Cpl Nanan, and PCs Mitchell and Isaac made the arrest.

Police said they seized a Baretta pistol with a loaded magazine, as well as several camouflage jackets and pants.

The suspect has a long criminal history of robberies, narcotics possession, and firearm related offences, police said.

He was released from prison two years ago.

Police said that the suspect will be questioned in relation to other crimes in other divisions.
