Coach Williams unhappy with Red Force inconsistencies*

Cause for concern

The Trinidad and Tobago Red Force’s inconsistency—with the bat, the ball and in the field—is starting to become a concern for coach Kelvin Williams.
Having bowled well against the Leeward Islands Hurricanes in St Kitts to record their second outright win this season, Denesh Ramdin’s men went to Jamaica where they were hammered by the Scorpions batsmen before holding on to salvage a draw, thanks in large part to rain on the final day Sunday. Williams described the two-match road trip as “mixed”, lamenting middle-order slumps in both matches and crucial dropped catches at Sabina Park as reasons for concern.
However he was pleased to come away with vital points as they head into their final match before the Christmas break against Barbados Pride, bowling off tomorrow at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba.
