A MAN who said he was stereotyped as a “raper man”, lost his two jobs and suffered psychological stress after he was charged with five sex offences against a woman was yesterday freed on all charges .
The magistrate found that the victim's evidence against Akeel Walters was unreliable.
Walters, 26, of Gasparillo faced three charges of grievous sexual assault, two offences of buggery and two allegations of sexual intercourse without the female's consent. The alleged offences occurred between April 2016 and January 2017 when the alleged victim was 19 and then turned 20 years old. Walters first appeared in court in January 17 of this year.
