'Umps' for the future *

T&T candidates excel at regional umpiring exams

PRESIDENT of the Trinidad and Tobago Umpires and Scorers Association Parasram Singh has congratulated a trio of local umpires who have excelled at the recent regional 2017 Practical and Oral Examinations.

Singh heaped praise on Carlton Best (97 percent), Vicki Daniel (95 per cent) and Afraz Mohammed (94 per cent) who all placed in the top five.

“It is a tremendous achievement by the Trinidad and Tobago umpires to dominate the top placings in the highly competitive examination,” said Singh.
