Raptors clinch T20 title*

Preysal Raptors clinched the Centric Cricket Academy’s 2017 Youth T20 Festival title when they defeated Endeavour Hawks by 55 runs last week Saturday.
Batting first at the Avidesh Samaroo Park in Endeavour, Raptors compiled an imposing 136 for the loss of six wickets as top order batsmen N. Bidaisee, 33, N. Ali, 33, S. Seecharan, 31, and J Bankay, 21, were all among the runs. The wickets to fall were shared among S. Mohammed (2-23), D. Ramsawak (2-23) and N. McDavid (2-27).
Hawks began their chase of the target positively, with opener L. Julien stroking a patient 34 and getting good support from Ramsawak, who added 17, but the rest of their batsmen failed to reach double figures, as they were eventually dismissed for 81 off 19.2 overs.
