Better security at the airport now...right?*

So, I parked and secured my car pretty much close to the security booth in the parking lot at Piarco International Airport on Christmas Eve. I returned one week later, on Old Year’s Day, hurriedly jumped into my car, drove up to security and paid the $461 parking/security fee incurred, and exited, making sure to avoid the flood waters nearby.
On arriving at home about an hour and a half later, I discovered my four hub caps (wheel caps) all removed. In dismay, I phoned the security department on the morning of New Year’s Day and spoke to one Corporal L about my plight.
