Hawks take Centric T20 title*

SWEET TASTE OF VICTORY: The victorious Endeavour Hawks players are presented with the trophy by Centric representative Shalene Surajbally at the Avidesh Samaroo Park in Endeavour, Chaguanas.

ENDEAVOUR HAWKS are the Centric Cricket Academy’s 2017 Youth T20 Festival champions, clinching the title when they defeated Preysal Raptors by 55 runs in the final on December 23 at the Avidesh Samaroo Park in Endeavour. In the final, Raptors won the toss and asked their opponents to take first strike, and Hawks made good use of the opportunity as top order batsmen Navin Bidhassie, 33, N. Ali, 33, Sachin Seecharan, 31, and Joshua Bankay, 21, all batted responsibly to pace their team to a solid 136 for the loss of six wickets.
