Imran Khan's 20th first-class five-wicket haul gave the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force a 59-run first innings lead over the Leeward Islands Hurricanes and by tea time, an aggressive Amir Jangoo extended that to 123.

Khan grabbed five for 25 as the Hurricanes were dismissed for 163 before tea on the second day of the Regional Four-Day contest at Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain on Friday.

The Red Force, who made 222 in their first innings a day earlier, raced to 64 for two at the afternoon break with Jangoo hitting and entertaining 38 off 30 balls, with one six and six fours, before he played one shot too many and was caught off the bowling of Sheeno Berridge.

His opening partner Jeremy Solozano also departed before the break, lbw to Chaim Holder for 10. Yannic Cariah (6) and Ewart Nicholson (3) then took the hosts to tea without further loss.
